However, for high-elevation areas with severe snow, the Lifetime Snow Load Kit is a perfect addition to your storage shed. Increasing the snow load capacity from 23 to 30 lb/square ft, the kit reinforces one steel truss and helps keep the shed strong during those tough storms. The kit is sold per truss (multiple kits may need to be purchased for one shed). With additional trusses, Snow Load Kits are compatible with 8-Foot Wide sheds up to 15 Feet in length.
The Snow Load Kit can be used in conjunction with the Lifetime Shed Extreme Weather Kit (Model 60011), but the Extreme Weather Kit is not compatible with sheds greater than 10 feet in length.
